This Program is designed to provide life skills and value education for responsible living among school going children and young adults.

Learning about and through arts is fundamental to the development of the child, promoting creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and social interactions. It encourages a deep dive into their inner resources, develop their personalities and prepare themselves to be confident and empathetic adults. An acquired sense of SELF helps better integration and performance both in the personal and professional spaces.

Currently the Program is delivered either virtually or in – person depending on the environment and need of the group.

This program is implemented in collaboration with Educational Institutions, Partner NGOs like Flowering Tree INC, Light of Life Trust, Vatsalya Foundation, Project Mumbai, United Way of Mumbai, YMCA, Acorn Dharavi, Acorn Mahim, SUPPORT, Doorstep Schools, Prithvi Theatre, USF, SPJIMR – Abhyudaya, among others.

Artscape recognizes the dire need to create individuals who are empowered yet compassionate citizens of tomorrow. The Beyond Academics programme focuses on providing value and moral education among school going children for the responsible living. Sessions are designed using tools of Expressive Arts Therapy such as Music, Movement, Meditation & Visual Arts to provide value education and life skills. It helps them connect with their inner-self, understand the values, but also to reflect them in their attitudes and behavior, and contribute to society through good citizenship and ethics. Beyond Academics enables students to put their best foot forward while stepping into the world despite their circumstances.”
